Spiral Bevel Gearboxes

Spiral Bevel Gearbox with Reinforced Shaft

A bevel gearbox with reinforced shaft is commonly used in line-shaft drive applications where only a proportion of the full torque is taken off the main drive shaft at various intervals. Because the full torque is not transmitted through the gears, smaller more cost effective gearboxes can be utilised.

Features & Benefits

  • Ground Klingelnberg spiral bevel gears for precise, smooth, reliable and predictable rotary motion.

  • All faces machined and with tapped holes for universal mounting on all six sides.

  • Machined flanges provide alignment for perfect shaft centering.

  • Ball bearings for smooth operation with the option of taper roller bearings for higher radial load capacity.

  • All of our standard gearboxes can be customised to suit a wide variety of applications.

  • Stainless steel, anodised and other special coating options available.

  • Low backlash and very low transmission error as standard
