Having
proven their versatility and value time after time for over 50 years. Tandler
gearboxes are quality through and through. Every surface is matched for universal
mounting capabilities, the power density is among the highest in the industry.
They are extremely precise with very low backlash and very low transmission error.

Low
Backlash - Hardened and lapped matched set gearing provide smooth, reliable
and predictable rotary motion. Universal Mounting - Machined housing
and tapped holes allow mounting on all six sides. Machined Flanges
- Provides alignment for perfect shaft centering. Bearing Options -
Ball bearings for quiet operation, tapered bearings for higher radial load capacity.
Special Design - Standard models can be modified for maximum design versatility.

Tandler
spiral bevel gearboxes offer low backlash and low transmission error for precise
power transmission. Input and output options include standard shafts, hollow shafts,
and mounting flanges. Auxiliary shafts for power takeoffs, reversing, and disengaging
designs are also available.
The WV version with a larger through shaft
is commonly used in line shaft applications where only partial torques are taken
off at variable intervals.

A popular design because it eliminates the need for coupling between shafts or allows for custom shafts to be inserted.
The Tandler hollow shaft designs offer increased connection flexibility. The hollow shafts can be supplied with keyways, straight sided splines, involute splines or smooth bores with shrink disks.

EA
and ZA spiral bevel gearboxes allow for up to five additional drive shafts.
In short, one input shaft and up to five output shafts - one on every side
of the gearbox. | |

The
AS version is a precision spiral bevel gearbox where the output shaft can be disengaged
from the input shaft. The S version adds the capability to reverse the
direction of the output shaft relative to the input shaft.

With
two different flange designs these gearboxes can be coupled with virtually and
AC, DC or servo motor available on the market. The F version uses a
hollow pinion to accept an AC or DC motor shaft. The FS version is specifically
designed for servo applications and uses a unique metal bellows coupling to connect
the motor. This coupling eliminates any misalignment and bearing loads
associated with matching tolerances, and is integrated inside the motor flange.
Tandler flange mount gearboxes allow direct motor connection with NEMA, IEC,
or servo motor adapters. |
